Desience Dispatch Consoles are designed with user and equipment
safety in mind. At Russ Bassett, we understand things happen and
sometimes things are left in areas where it shouldn’t be. We have
equipped all of our consoles with Anti-Collision Technology that goes
above and beyond anything available in the industry. Anti-Collision
Technology is located at all crush points on the console to protect the
technology, equipment and furniture and along the front-edge of the
console to protect users and chairs.
In addition to the Anti-Collision Technology, Desience Dispatch
Consoles are also designed to eliminate the hazard of pinch points
through safety gaps around surfaces and areas that move relative to
one another. |

|
|
|
|
All Desience Dispatch Consoles have optional Convenience Outlets that are user defined to provide desktop access to power and multiple
data options. Data options available are USB, PS/2, RJ45, RJ11,
HDMI, 3mm Audio and many more. The convenience outlet can also
be custom configured to accommodate each end user with items such
as light dimmer switches, headphone jacks or anything small needed
at arm’s reach.
Desience Dispatch Consoles come standard with our Input Device
Quick Connect. This area allows you to connect up to four sets of
keyboards and mice at the desktop level. Rather than tracing a
keyboard or mouse cable back to the CPU after it has failed, simply
disconnect and reconnect the input device at the work surface level. |

Desience Dispatch Consoles come standard with two multi-use
Equipment Cabinets. The cabinets are an integral part of the console, not an additional component or afterthought. The equipment cabinets can be used to store CPU’s and other peripherals or customized for your specific equipment requirements. Standard components include storage pedestals for personal items or filing, adjustable equipment shelves, roll-out equipment shelves, horizontal and vertical rack mounts. The multi-use equipment cabinets are built around a Unistrut® frame work which allows for any components to be installed, removed or moved all without any drilling, cutting or any modification to the base structure. |

Desience Dispatch Consoles offer a different approach to the tangled
mess of cables and hoses under most workstations. Desience
Dispatch Consoles enclose all Critical System Components, hoses and
cables running vertically from the work surface to the base of the
console to provide an aesthetically pleasing work station. It also
protects cables from accidental disconnection or possible damage to
the lift control boxes and environmental system. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
All equipment and cables located within the Desience Dispatch
Consoles can be accessed through the front or rear of the consoles.
The front of the equipment cabinets are 100% accessible through
quick release hinged doors and access to the rear of the consoles is
gained through Lift Off Panels. Optional quick release hinged doors are
also available for the rear of the console. |

Russ Bassett has built Desience Dispatch Consoles with user comfort
in mind. The optional Personal Environment System offers personal
filtered ventilation at the work surface level, a leg and foot warming
Toe Space Forced-Air Heater, white noise, and several task light
options. Desience Dispatch Consoles integrate the Air Diffusers and
ducting into the slatwall of the console, allowing more work surface
area and a clean appearance below the work surface. Unlike other
consoles, there are no exposed air hoses. At Russ Bassett we have
listened to Public Safety Dispatchers and removed the inefficient
traditional radiant heat panel and replaced it with our forced-air foot
and leg heater providing maximum comfort. |

Desience Dispatch Consoles offer the industry’s only slatwall mounting
area for monitors and accessories. Our theory is simple: remove as
much as we can from the work surface and give it back to what it was
intended for – work space. Russ Bassett offers Fully Articulating
Monitors Arms to mount different size monitors rather than mounting
the adjustment mechanism to the work surface and taking up to 70%
of your work space away. The monitor arm solution offers 14” of
vertical height adjustment and 20.5” of focal depth adjustment. The
slatwall also provides a mounting location for all accessories such as
task lighting, paper flow organizers, binder holders, pencil cups, phone
trays, etc. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Slatwall not only offers a mounting point for displays and
accessories, it doubles as a horizontal cable management system,
power distribution, and convenience outlet mounting area. All cables
from the work surface area and monitors are passed into the slatwall
for power or cable routing to the base of the console. The cables are
concealed for aesthetic purposes and protected against accidental
disconnection.
Desience Dispatch Consoles have the most comprehensive, easy to
use, protected and complete cable management systems in the
industry. Our cable management system starts at the work surface
level with a with a large Cable Management System that includes power to plug
in all of your desktop peripherals. This cable gutter can be entered at
any point at the back of the work surface through quick release flipper
doors. These flipper doors allow you to access the cables from the
work surface level versus dropping cables through grommets and
accessing cables from under the work surface. The cables in the
works surface cable gutter are then run and collected in the center
plenum of the console. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
The center plenum contains Two Vertical Cable Management Chains where
cables are run vertically through the consoles. These cable
management chains allow for the cables to move with the consoles
from its seated to standing position without adding any wear and tear
on cables and connectors. When the cables have reached the base of
the console they are once again collected into a cable gutter and
routed to the left or the right of the console into the integrated
equipment cabinets. |
